UY Studio GmbH  is a design-driven, minimalist fragrance and homeware brand headquartered in Berlin, Germany. We used to run UY Studio, a fashion label rooted in the dark aesthetic of the city’s club culture. After over a decade, we got what we came for and much more. Now it was time to reinvent ourselves into fragrance and homeware. UY’s story is one of grit, growth, and transition, reflecting all of our own struggles, triumphs, and hopes. Our creations used to be defined by the lack of light; UY is now bound to its presence. Therefore we’re looking for a brand manager.

POSITION #1: BRAND MANAGER 

BRAND MANAGER 
The Brand Manager is responsible for running the daily operations of UY and ensuring that the company’s strategic goals are executed effectively. Acting as the key bridge between the Creative Director’s vision and the business side, this role covers leadership, finance, strategy execution and brand management. 

The position offers a unique growth path: You work hand in hand with the Founder and Creative Director, gaining access to behind-the-scenes design processes. Strategy, operations, brand, sales, partnerships and customer experience. This is a role for someone who thrives by taking ownership and responsibility and appreciates variety in its work.

Conditions:

Working Hours

  • Part-time: 20-30h per week or full-time: 40 hours per week
  • flexibility required for events, gigs

Contract & Details 

  • Start date: February 2026
  • Contract: 2 years, 3 month probationary period
  • Possibility of extension depending on the companies needs and performance 
  • Performance review: after 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months
  • Notice period: 3 months for both parties.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for brand presence, operational flow, customer service, sales & growth

1. Strategy & Leadership

  • Execute the strategic business plan and UY’s vision.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute product launches and sales across all channels.
  • Monitor milestones and KPIs and use data and insights to inform decision making.
  • Monitor brand performance, market perception, feedback and competitor analysis.
  • Report regularly to the CEO/Board on progress and challenges.
  • Align creative direction with commercial objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate the team as it grows.
  • Create and implement workflows and standards for transparency and efficiency.
  • Optimize workflows and processes to support growth.
  • Monitor quality control at all stages (materials, production, delivery).

2. Finance & Administration

  • Ensure execution of sales goals and monitor performance against targets.
  • Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting with legal compliance.
  • Oversee invoicing, contracts, and bookkeeping preparation.
  • Coordinate with external providers (finance, legal, logistics).
  • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation.

3. Sales & Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain long-term B2B client and retail partnerships.
  • Build and manage the sales pipeline, including negotiations and contract management.
  • Grow wholesale, concessions, shop-in-shop or in-store concepts and collaborations.
  • Drive sales pipeline, negotiate contracts and manage key account relationships.

  • Support Marketing & Community Relations (B2C) to manage communication channels (social media, events, newsletters, etc.).
  • Act as a shop representative when needed. Welcome and assist customers in the physical store, providing exceptional product knowledge and brand experience.
  • Manage and coordinate with shop representatives the shop opening hours.
  • Oversee invoicing, contracts, and bookkeeping preparation.
  • Manage cost control and financial reporting.

POSITION #2: OFFICE MANAGER 

Position Summary

The office & operations manager position at UY Studio GmbH ensures a reliable and efficient operational flow across production, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment, while delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience. Acting as a central interface between design, production partners, suppliers, shipping providers, and sales channels, this role ensures smooth day-to-day operations within budget and in line with UY’s quality standards.

In parallel, the role leads customer service and supports the brand experience across digital and physical touchpoints. This includes managing customer inquiries and complaints, contributing to consistent brand presentation, acting as a shop representative when needed, and coordinating shop operations and staff. With a strong focus on operational excellence and process optimization, this role enables scalable growth without compromising UY’s premium standards.

 

Working Hours

  • Part-time, 20-30 hours per week (can grow, as the brand grows)

  • Core working hours: 10:00 - 17:00 (flexibility required for events, gigs, no home office)

  • Saturdays: required twice per month (showroom presence)

POSITION #3: SALES & B2B MANAGER  

Position Summary

The Sales & B2B Manager role at UY Studio GmbH is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and management of strategic wholesale and retail partnerships. The role owns the full B2B sales cycle, from pipeline development and negotiations to contract management and key account relationships.

With a focus on building a scalable and premium distribution network, the position expands UY’s presence through wholesale, concessions, shop-in-shop or in-store concepts, and selected collaborations. Working closely with the CEO, the role aligns commercial activities with growth strategy, ensures clear performance tracking, and provides regular reporting on sales progress, opportunities, and challenges.

 

Working Model

  • Freelance mandate with a high degree of autonomy and outcome-based responsibility.
